The short version
These apps have no accounts and no sign-up. We do not collect your name, your email address, your phone number or your location. Your saved stations, your listening history and your settings stay on your device and are never sent to us — we operate no server that stores anything about you.
Two things do leave your device: the requests needed to find and play radio streams, and the data Google's advertising system needs in order to show ads. Both are described below.
1. Who is responsible
DevBox, reachable at contact@devbox.tn, is the data controller for the processing described here. Where Google acts on its own account — advertising in particular — Google is an independent controller for that processing.
2. What stays on your device
Stored locally, readable only by the app, deleted when you uninstall it or use Settings → Clear data:
- Stations you saved, and stations you recently played
- Your recent searches
- Your theme choice (light or dark)
- Which stream URL last worked for a station, so playback starts faster
- A count of listening sessions and the date of first launch, used only to decide when to show the Google Play rating prompt — and never sent anywhere
None of this is transmitted to us or to anyone else.
3. What is sent to find and play radio
The catalogue of stations comes from Radio Browser, a free community-run directory. When you browse, search or play a station, your device contacts its servers directly. That request carries:
- your IP address, as with any internet request;
- the country the app is built for, and your search terms;
- the identifier of the station you started, so the directory can count how often each station is played. This is a station counter, not a profile of you.
Audio itself is fetched directly from the broadcaster's own streaming server, which likewise sees your IP address. We do not host, store or relay any audio.
Legal basis: performing the service you asked for (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)), and our legitimate interest in a working catalogue (Art. 6(1)(f)).
4. Advertising
The apps are free and funded by advertising through Google AdMob. To serve ads, Google may process your device's advertising ID, your IP address, coarse device and app information, and your interaction with the ads.
In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, the app shows a consent screen on first launch, built with Google's User Messaging Platform. Nothing is used for personalised advertising unless you consent. Refusing means you still see ads, but non-personalised ones.
You can change your mind at any time: Settings → Privacy → Privacy options reopens the same screen. On the device itself, Android's Settings → Privacy → Ads lets you delete or disable the advertising ID altogether.
Legal basis: your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)) for personalised advertising; legitimate interest for non-personalised advertising and fraud prevention.

5. Ratings prompt
After you have listened for a while, the app may ask Google Play to show its in-app review dialog. The dialog belongs to Google Play and we never see who was asked, whether they rated, or what they wrote beyond what is public on the store listing.
6. Notifications
The app asks for notification permission for one reason: to show playback controls while the radio is playing. We send no marketing or push notifications of any kind. Refusing the permission does not affect playback; you simply lose the controls in the notification shade.
7. Data transfers outside the EU
Google processes advertising data on infrastructure that includes servers in the United States, under the safeguards described in its own policies. Radio Browser mirrors are hosted in Europe. We ourselves transfer nothing, because we receive nothing.
8. Retention
We hold no personal data, so we have nothing to retain or delete. On-device data lasts until you clear it or uninstall the app. Data held by Google is kept according to Google's own retention policies.
9. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection, and the right to lodge a complaint with your national supervisory authority. Since we hold no data about you, most requests should go to Google for the advertising data. Write to contact@devbox.tn and we will help you direct the request.
10. Children
These apps are not directed at children under 13 (16 in some EU countries) and we do not knowingly collect anything from them. If you believe a child has used the app in a way that concerns you, contact us.
11. Changes
If this policy changes materially we will update the date at the top and, when the change affects how data is used, surface it in the app.

En résumé
Ces applications n'ont ni compte ni inscription. Nous ne collectons ni votre nom, ni votre adresse e-mail, ni votre numéro, ni votre position. Vos stations enregistrées, votre historique d'écoute et vos réglages restent sur votre appareil et ne nous sont jamais transmis — nous n'exploitons aucun serveur qui stockerait quoi que ce soit vous concernant.
Deux choses quittent malgré tout votre appareil : les requêtes nécessaires pour trouver et lire les flux radio, et les données dont le système publicitaire de Google a besoin pour afficher des annonces. Les deux sont détaillées ci-dessous.
1. Responsable du traitement
DevBox, joignable à contact@devbox.tn, est responsable des traitements décrits ici. Lorsque Google agit pour son propre compte — la publicité en particulier — Google est responsable de traitement indépendant.
2. Ce qui reste sur votre appareil
Stocké localement, lisible uniquement par l'application, supprimé à la désinstallation ou via Réglages → Effacer les données :
- les stations que vous avez enregistrées et celles écoutées récemment ;
- vos recherches récentes ;
- votre choix de thème (clair ou sombre) ;
- le flux qui a fonctionné en dernier pour une station, afin d'accélérer la lecture suivante ;
- un compteur de sessions d'écoute et la date de première ouverture, servant uniquement à décider quand proposer la note Google Play — jamais transmis.
Rien de tout cela ne nous est envoyé, ni à personne d'autre.
3. Ce qui est envoyé pour trouver et lire les radios
Le catalogue provient de Radio Browser, un annuaire communautaire libre. Quand vous parcourez, cherchez ou lancez une station, votre appareil contacte directement ses serveurs. Cette requête transporte :
- votre adresse IP, comme toute requête internet ;
- le pays pour lequel l'application est compilée, et vos termes de recherche ;
- l'identifiant de la station lancée, pour que l'annuaire compte les écoutes par station. C'est un compteur de stations, pas un profil vous concernant.
Le son lui-même est récupéré directement sur le serveur de diffusion de la station, qui voit également votre adresse IP. Nous n'hébergeons, ne stockons et ne relayons aucun contenu audio.
Base légale : exécution du service demandé (RGPD art. 6.1.b) et intérêt légitime à disposer d'un catalogue fonctionnel (art. 6.1.f).
4. Publicité
Les applications sont gratuites et financées par la publicité via Google AdMob. Pour diffuser des annonces, Google peut traiter l'identifiant publicitaire de votre appareil, votre adresse IP, des informations générales sur l'appareil et l'application, ainsi que vos interactions avec les annonces.
Dans l'Espace économique européen, au Royaume-Uni et en Suisse, l'application affiche un écran de consentement au premier lancement, construit avec la plateforme de messages utilisateur de Google. Rien n'est utilisé à des fins de publicité personnalisée sans votre consentement. Refuser n'enlève pas les publicités, elles deviennent non personnalisées.
Vous pouvez revenir sur votre choix à tout moment : Réglages → Confidentialité → Options de confidentialité rouvre le même écran. Sur l'appareil, Paramètres → Confidentialité → Annonces permet de supprimer ou de désactiver l'identifiant publicitaire.
Base légale : votre consentement (RGPD art. 6.1.a) pour la publicité personnalisée ; intérêt légitime pour la publicité non personnalisée et la lutte contre la fraude.
Le traitement effectué par Google est décrit dans les Règles de confidentialité Google et la documentation AdMob.
5. Invitation à noter l'application
Après une écoute suffisante, l'application peut demander à Google Play d'afficher sa fenêtre d'avis intégrée. Cette fenêtre appartient à Google Play : nous ne savons ni qui a été sollicité, ni qui a noté, ni ce qui a été écrit au-delà de ce qui est public sur la fiche.
6. Notifications
L'autorisation de notification sert à une seule chose : afficher les commandes de lecture pendant que la radio joue. Nous n'envoyons aucune notification marketing ni aucun push. Refuser n'empêche pas la lecture, vous perdez seulement les commandes dans le volet de notifications.
7. Transferts hors de l'Union européenne
Google traite les données publicitaires sur une infrastructure comprenant des serveurs aux États-Unis, sous les garanties décrites dans ses propres règles. Les miroirs de Radio Browser sont hébergés en Europe. Nous ne transférons rien nous-mêmes, puisque nous ne recevons rien.
8. Conservation
Nous ne détenons aucune donnée personnelle : il n'y a donc rien à conserver ni à effacer de notre côté. Les données locales subsistent jusqu'à ce que vous les effaciez ou désinstalliez l'application. Les données détenues par Google suivent les durées de conservation de Google.
9. Vos droits
Le RGPD vous donne des droits d'accès, de rectification, d'effacement, de limitation, de portabilité et d'opposition, ainsi que le droit d'introduire une réclamation auprès de votre autorité de contrôle — en France, la CNIL. Comme nous ne détenons aucune donnée vous concernant, l'essentiel des demandes doit être adressé à Google pour les données publicitaires. Écrivez à contact@devbox.tn et nous vous aiderons à orienter votre demande.
10. Enfants
Ces applications ne s'adressent pas aux enfants de moins de 13 ans (16 ans dans certains pays de l'Union) et nous ne collectons sciemment rien les concernant. Si vous pensez qu'un enfant a utilisé l'application d'une manière qui vous préoccupe, contactez-nous.
11. Modifications
En cas de modification substantielle, la date en haut de page sera mise à jour et, lorsque le changement affecte l'usage des données, il sera signalé dans l'application.

Kurzfassung
Diese Apps haben weder Konten noch Anmeldung. Wir erheben weder Ihren Namen noch Ihre E-Mail-Adresse, Ihre Telefonnummer oder Ihren Standort. Gespeicherte Sender, Wiedergabeverlauf und Einstellungen bleiben auf Ihrem Gerät und werden uns nie übermittelt — wir betreiben keinen Server, der irgendetwas über Sie speichert.
Zwei Dinge verlassen Ihr Gerät dennoch: die Anfragen, die zum Finden und Abspielen der Radiostreams nötig sind, und die Daten, die Googles Werbesystem zum Ausliefern von Anzeigen benötigt. Beides wird unten beschrieben.
1. Verantwortlicher
DevBox, erreichbar unter contact@devbox.tn, ist Verantwortlicher für die hier beschriebenen Verarbeitungen. Soweit Google auf eigene Rechnung handelt — insbesondere bei Werbung — ist Google eigenständig Verantwortlicher.
2. Was auf Ihrem Gerät bleibt
Lokal gespeichert, nur von der App lesbar, gelöscht bei Deinstallation oder über Einstellungen → Daten löschen:
- gespeicherte und zuletzt gehörte Sender;
- Ihre letzten Suchanfragen;
- Ihre Designwahl (hell oder dunkel);
- welche Stream-Adresse bei einem Sender zuletzt funktioniert hat, damit die Wiedergabe schneller startet;
- ein Zähler der Hörsitzungen und das Datum des ersten Starts, ausschließlich dafür, wann die Google-Play-Bewertungsanfrage erscheint — wird nirgendwohin gesendet.
Nichts davon wird an uns oder an Dritte übertragen.
3. Was zum Finden und Abspielen gesendet wird
Das Senderverzeichnis stammt von Radio Browser, einem freien, gemeinschaftlich betriebenen Verzeichnis. Beim Stöbern, Suchen oder Starten eines Senders kontaktiert Ihr Gerät dessen Server direkt. Diese Anfrage übermittelt:
- Ihre IP-Adresse, wie bei jeder Internetanfrage;
- das Land, für das die App gebaut wurde, und Ihre Suchbegriffe;
- die Kennung des gestarteten Senders, damit das Verzeichnis zählen kann, wie oft ein Sender gehört wird. Das ist ein Senderzähler, kein Profil über Sie.
Das Audiosignal selbst wird direkt vom Streaming-Server des Senders geholt, der ebenfalls Ihre IP-Adresse sieht. Wir hosten, speichern und leiten keine Audioinhalte weiter.
Rechtsgrundlage: Erbringung der angeforderten Leistung (Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. b DSGVO) sowie unser berechtigtes Interesse an einem funktionierenden Verzeichnis (Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. f DSGVO).
4. Werbung
Die Apps sind kostenlos und über Google AdMob werbefinanziert. Zur Auslieferung von Anzeigen kann Google die Werbe-ID Ihres Geräts, Ihre IP-Adresse, grobe Geräte- und App-Informationen sowie Ihre Interaktion mit den Anzeigen verarbeiten.
Im Europäischen Wirtschaftsraum, im Vereinigten Königreich und in der Schweiz zeigt die App beim ersten Start einen Einwilligungsdialog, erstellt mit Googles User Messaging Platform. Ohne Ihre Einwilligung wird nichts für personalisierte Werbung verwendet. Eine Ablehnung entfernt die Werbung nicht, sie wird nicht-personalisiert.
Sie können Ihre Entscheidung jederzeit ändern: Einstellungen → Datenschutz → Datenschutzoptionen öffnet denselben Dialog erneut. Auf dem Gerät können Sie unter Einstellungen → Datenschutz → Werbung die Werbe-ID löschen oder ganz deaktivieren.
Rechtsgrundlage: Ihre Einwilligung (Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. a DSGVO) für personalisierte Werbung; berechtigtes Interesse für nicht-personalisierte Werbung und Betrugsprävention.
Googles eigene Verarbeitung ist in den Google-Datenschutzhinweisen und in der AdMob-Dokumentation beschrieben.
5. Bewertungsanfrage
Nach ausreichender Hördauer kann die App Google Play bitten, den integrierten Bewertungsdialog anzuzeigen. Der Dialog gehört Google Play; wir erfahren weder, wer gefragt wurde, noch wer bewertet hat oder was geschrieben wurde, über das hinaus, was auf der Store-Seite öffentlich ist.
6. Benachrichtigungen
Die Benachrichtigungsberechtigung dient einem einzigen Zweck: den Wiedergabesteuerungen während des Radiohörens. Wir senden keinerlei Werbe- oder Push-Benachrichtigungen. Eine Ablehnung beeinträchtigt die Wiedergabe nicht, Sie verlieren lediglich die Steuerung in der Benachrichtigungsleiste.
7. Übermittlung außerhalb der EU
Google verarbeitet Werbedaten auf einer Infrastruktur, die auch Server in den Vereinigten Staaten umfasst, unter den in Googles eigenen Richtlinien beschriebenen Garantien. Die Radio-Browser-Spiegel stehen in Europa. Wir selbst übermitteln nichts, weil wir nichts erhalten.
8. Speicherdauer
Wir halten keine personenbezogenen Daten, also gibt es bei uns nichts aufzubewahren oder zu löschen. Lokale Daten bleiben, bis Sie sie löschen oder die App deinstallieren. Von Google gehaltene Daten unterliegen Googles Aufbewahrungsfristen.
9. Ihre Rechte
Nach der DSGVO haben Sie Rechte auf Auskunft, Berichtigung, Löschung, Einschränkung, Datenübertragbarkeit und Widerspruch sowie das Recht auf Beschwerde bei Ihrer Aufsichtsbehörde. Da wir keine Daten über Sie halten, sind die meisten Anfragen zu den Werbedaten an Google zu richten. Schreiben Sie an contact@devbox.tn, wir helfen Ihnen, die Anfrage richtig zu adressieren.
10. Kinder
Diese Apps richten sich nicht an Kinder unter 13 Jahren (in einigen EU-Ländern 16) und wir erheben wissentlich nichts von ihnen. Wenn Sie glauben, dass ein Kind die App in bedenklicher Weise genutzt hat, kontaktieren Sie uns.
11. Änderungen
Bei wesentlichen Änderungen aktualisieren wir das Datum oben und weisen in der App darauf hin, sofern die Änderung die Datennutzung betrifft.
